Sisters+ Mentors will meet with their assigned Mentee for a minimum of 10 minutes per week for an in-person conversation. Attend occasional Sisters+ gatherings. This program is separate from this Mentors Program and is not designed to provide help with homework (see the Mentors Program for information on homework assistance).
Everybody needs leadership skills. Being a Sisters+ Mentor will give you the opportunity to work with and guide lower-division students through the hurdles that you have successfully managed. Do you remember being a first year student wishing you had someone to talk to? This is your chance to make a difference!
The CS program is very challenging. Your Sisters+ Mentor can help guide you through the hurdles. People who have been through the program already are your greatest asset. If you think you could use support and guidance from an upper-division student, this program is for you!
Any CS student who has been at WWU for at least a year and has taken a 300-level class.
